Dr. Yang Wang is the Chief Scientist of Huawei(Canada). His research focuses on computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence. Yang Wang is also an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Manitoba. He received a best paper award at CRV'16 conference and the Terry G. Falconer Memorial Rh Institute Foundation Emerging Researcher Award at the University of Manitoba in 2017. He regularly serves as area chair and program committee in major conferences in computer vision and machine learning.
